ATTENDED THE LIVE STREAM OPENING OF THE VICTORIAN PRIDE CENTRE

I have just attended the live stream opening of the Victorian Pride Centre, so moving, so inspiring, an Australian first. https://www.pridecentre.org.au/live.

This is a remarkable and beautiful building that will be the site of the first launch in Australia of my book: Free Radical: a Memoir. Its architecture is inspired by the totems of the Yaluk-ut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung of the Eastern Kulin nation.

It is a safe space of reflection, of progress, of remembrance, of celebration and of Pride. It marks how far we have come and how much further we must go.  I never thought that I would live to see the day when such a world class, world destination Centre was built. It has and it is wonderful.

The book launch is planned for Thursday 14th October 2021 6PM for a 6.30PM start at the Victorian Pride Centre, 79/81 Fitzroy St., St. Kilda VIC 3182. I will provide updates as we get closer to the date.
